NEW 19" Color Raster |
Original Bally Midway Galaxian arcade game that should turn out well once restored. The artwork on this Galaxian has some of the typical wear that we see on nearly all Galaxians. Unfortunately reproduction artwork is not available and the original artwork did have a tendancy to wear. We do think this one should clean up well and is in better condition than most Galaxians we come across.
We'll be installing a new 19" monitor game, rebuilding the power supply repainting the black area of control panel and the marquee brackets, installing new t-molding and new marquee lights, among other things when we restore this game. The pictures are prior to us doing any restoration work to this game, but give an idea as to the cabinet's condition.
We are now offering a multigame upgrade for Galaxian that plays over 25 games (including Qix) in the same cabinet. Please contact us at 610.287.3260 for more information on this upgrade.

Overview
Galaxian, released in 1979 was the first game to use a true color monitor and one of Bally Midway’s earlier hits. The game is a vertical shooter that begins relatively easy but after the first couple of levels gets very difficult. The game was followed by a number of sequels, including Galaga, Galplus, Galaga ’88 and Galaxian 3.
Coin-Op Overview
Galaxian’s cabinet features very colorful artwork depicting the alien attack. Unfortunately artwork on many of games has a good bit of wear.
