Coin-Op Overview
A notoriously difficult game, Williams hit a home run with Defender in 1980. The fast pace nature of the game, combined along with its FIVE control buttons and up/down joystick, sent many "newbie" players packing. However, with lots of practice, and lots of quarters, many players got to be extremely good at Defender.
