Taito high score save kit designed to eliminate the original battery used on Taito Qix and Zoo Keeper style boards. This kit uses a long life zeropower SRAM in place of the battery and the two ram chips orginally used by these boards to save scores. The battery back-up should last 15 or so years without failure.

This kit is very helpful if you lose high score and game settings in your Qix or Zoo Keeper game. Installation instructions are included and some soldering is required.

This kit will also work other Taito games that use the same boardset including Electric Yo-Yo, Kram and Space Dungeon.

Coin-Op Overview
Unlike most of Taito’s earlier games, Zookeeper’s cabinet features wonderful artwork depicting a Lion escaping from the Zoo among other things. Most of Taito’s other games (such as Qix, Jungle Hunt and Elevator Action) were manufactured in a standard “Taito” cabinet, which had the word “Taito” on each side and a rather boring design. While most Zookeeper cabinets were done in only orange and blue, some were released with color side-art.
