Coin-Op Overview
This game featured rotational-type eight-point joysticks which allowed the player to turn in all directions as necessary. Featuring impressive (for the time) parallax graphics, and better-than-average sound, only one Heavy Barrel game was made by Data East.

In keeping with the shoot-em-up games of the time, frequent and outrageous power-ups were a hallmark of Heavy Barrel, which was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System home console.
