One of the most popular games ever released by Atari, Centipede from 1981 in its original dedicated upright cabinet in good condition. This game was recently completely restored and looks very nice, note that the cabinet does has one noticeable wear spot, so we have discounted this cabinet over our regular retail price ($1795.00).
We did do all of the same restoration work as with all of our Centipedes. Some highlights of the restoration include:
- New 19" monitor installed.
- New control panel overlay (artwork) installed.
- New trackball assembly (the entire unit) will be installed prior to shipping (the game currently has the original trackball installed).
- New t-molding installed.
- Original artwork for the most part in very good condition. There is one wear spot, but otherwise very nice, see pictures for more details.
- Coin door and metal brackets repainted.
- Game's marquee and monitor glass in excellent condition.
The pictures below are of the actual game. Despite small wear spot, this game looks very good and plays great. A great chance to pick up an Atari classic at a discount.
